Regional Sustainability and Community Officer
Osare Bruno Ochieng is a results-driven Public Health Officer with a BSc in Public Health and hands-on experience integrating community health, food production, and regenerative agriculture practices. With a strong foundation in maternal and child health, sanitation, and nutrition education, Bruno has led impactful health campaigns across Homa Bay County, significantly improving community well-being.
He brings a unique edge through his growing specialization in community-based food security and sustainable agriculture—promoting household-level nutrition gardens, clean water systems, and ecological sanitation. While collaborating with Community Health Promoters (CHPs) and local farmers, he has championed initiatives linking health outcomes to regenerative farming, indigenous food use, and climate-resilient livelihoods.
His practical skills span public health education, household inspections, HIV and reproductive health outreach, and grassroots mobilization for disaster preparedness—all underpinned by a passion for transforming rural resilience through holistic, health-nutrition-agriculture approaches.

Robert Nyaidho is a qualified organic permaculture teacher and a committed grassroots leader serving the Kasabor community. Trained by Mr. Paul Ogalo, Robert combines traditional wisdom with practical regenerative farming to empower nearly 1,000 farmers. He focuses on strengthening food security and supports vulnerable families, working closely with Umoja Greenlands to grow resilient, community-based agricultural systems throughout Homa Bay County.
